Basic Onshore Emergency Response (BOER) – 8-Hours - OPITO
Pre Course Requisites Level
- Must be over 18-Years of Age
- Medical requirements established by the Authority having Jurisdiction
Target Group
All personnel operating on an Onshore Oil and Gas facility that require OPITO-Certified basic onshore emergency response training.
Course Overview
This course is designed to equip the delegate with the knowledge, skills and confidence to respond appropriately in the event of an onshore emergency. This course covers
evacuation procedures, firefighting, Self Rescue and emergency first aid.
Course Content
Delegates will receive theoretical and practical knowledge in the following areas:
- Emergency Response Actions
- Firefighting and Self-Rescue
- Emergency First Aid
